They are up for a lively debate and enjoy healthy competition. A pitta body tends to have a medium, muscular build. The pitta mind tends to be organized and keenly focused.

Pitta dosha is most prevalent in the Summer when the air outside is hot.

Pitta time is at the height of the day and the middle of the night from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 2:00 am.

If you have excess pitta dosha, you may tend to start projects late at night, and/or feel overly competitive and easily irritated around lunchtime.

It is important to eat your largest meal of the day at the time of pitta, when your digestive fires are at their hottest levels.
